Can I apply Terrastone on wood-based materials such as MDF or chipboard?

Terrastone can be applied to wood-based materials. Before applying a plaster primer containing quartz, the wood-based material must be blocked to prevent wood constituents from "bleeding through". This "strike-through" would later lead to discoloration of the Terrastone. Solvent-based products such as Brillux Haftgrund are suitable for blocking. It should be noted that joints of wood materials cannot be reinforced. The joints must be force-locked and glued. Simply gluing is not sufficient.
