Clay plaster: which colour should I use?

Clay plasters are characterised by a high diffusivity ("breathability") and by a high absorption behaviour of water vapour. As a result, they perfectly regulate the humidity in the rooms.

To maintain these properties, it is advisable to use paints that are also highly diffusible.

These high diffusion properties are offered in particular by mineral lime and silicate paints as well as casein paints (often also called clay paints).

Silicate paints also have the highest surface quality.
