Wallpaper as a tile backsplash?

We do not recommend wallpapering in the kitchen directly behind the stove or sink.

Although all our wallpapers tolerate occasional splashes (our vinyl wallpapers being even more suitable for splashing water), hot grease and oil will nonetheless soak into the wallpaper.
