We recommend the following colours on lime plaster:
Farrow & Ball Casein Distemper
The paint can be applied directly to lime plaster without having to prime the lime plaster first. We recommend thinning the first coat by approx. 5-10%.
Farrow & Ball Casein Distemper has the typical appearance of Farrow & Ball emulsion paints. It is highly pigmented, has a low film thickness, which enables a fine application of the colour, and it is open to diffusion (breathable).
Les Couleurs Le Corbusier poLyChro
The mineral answer to English emulsion paints. Also extremely highly pigmented and with a low filler content, it creates impressive surfaces. It is based on the silicate colour technology of the traditional German company KEIM, which creates a natural silicification effect on the lime plaster. Due to its mineral character, it is highly permeable and can be applied directly to the lime plaster.
We also recommend diluting the first coat by approx. 5-10%.
