# What is a batch/batch number?

## Batch and batch numbers ensure that there are no colour deviations when applying multiple rolls of wallpaper to the wall. Here we explain what you need to consider.

[Wallpaper](https://www.meinewand.com/en/wallpaper) rolls and murals that were produced together each have the same batch or batch number. Rolls from the same batch should always be wallpapered together to avoid color deviations from one roll to the next.

In any case, you should always order the entire quantity of wallpaper you need at once. Dividing into smaller orders or reordering may result in the second order already being from a different batch.
